I just try it, it is better than I expected. I use more cores (6 cores) as you suggested. The multi-core score is on par with Hetzner. Single core score is a bit lower. I value the single core performance for some application but it is fine. It have a DC in Singapore too that cost me a bit more but it's ok for faster ssh. I would consider move to Contabo after I fully test it.
